WYNE

WYNE, a private wine club in Paris

WYNE is a private wine club in Paris, founded in 2023 by sommelier Matthieu Di Nacera and Guillaume Gibbs. Membership is free with no subscription: three times a month, members can reserve allocated wines from French and European estates, have them stored in a professional cellar, and delivered across Europe when they want.

What is WYNE?

WYNE (WYNE SAS) is a private wine club based in Paris, at 28 rue Traversière, 75012. It was founded in 2023 by Matthieu Di Nacera, a sommelier, and Guillaume Gibbs. Matthieu tastes, meets the winemakers, picks every wine and writes every tasting note. Guillaume looks after each member's cellar, from the invoice to the delivery. The club grows mostly by word of mouth.

How does the wine club work?

Three times a month, on a Tuesday at 12:00 (Paris time), WYNE holds a Wyne Alloc': a short release of wines from one estate or one theme, in counted quantities.

  • On the Monday, the estate and its story are announced in the members' WhatsApp community.
  • At 12:00 on Tuesday, the menu and Matthieu's tasting notes go live in the member area: you reserve your share in a few seconds.
  • You pay by card, Apple Pay or bank transfer.
  • Quantities are limited: first come, first served.

Past releases include López de Heredia in Rioja, Lucien Le Moine in Burgundy, Belargus in Anjou, Domaine Bott in the northern Rhône and Vaccelli in Corsica. Past releases are in the tasting book.

Is WYNE a wine subscription?

No. There is no monthly box and no commitment. Membership is free, with no subscription and no obligation to buy: you only order the wines you want, release by release. If you are comparing formats, our French guide subscription or wine club explains the difference.

What does a member get?

  • Access to the three Wyne Alloc' each month, with a tasting note for every wine.
  • A member area (app.wyne.fr) showing your cellar bottle by bottle (stored at WYNE, at home, or already drunk), the drinking window and Matthieu's advice for every wine, your own notes, your cellar book and all your invoices.
  • Storage with a professional partner, at constant temperature and humidity, away from light and vibration. Up to 24 bottles per member are stored free of charge, and the cellar book is updated after every purchase.
  • Delivery whenever you want.

How can I buy rare French wine in Paris?

The most sought-after French wines are often sold by allocation: estates produce small quantities and keep them for loyal buyers, so they rarely reach shop shelves. A club that has built relationships with these estates is one of the simplest ways in. At WYNE, 105 estates have been selected so far, from famous names to winemakers that are still little known outside their region. Our French guide on wine allocation explains how the system works.

Does WYNE deliver outside France?

Yes. WYNE delivers to your home or to a pick-up point, in France and in the rest of Europe, except the United Kingdom, usually within 5 to 10 days. Shipping costs are shown before your order is sent. You can also leave your bottles in storage and ask for delivery later.

Is WYNE a good wine club for expats in Paris?

It can be, with one thing to know: WYNE runs in French. The website, the member app, the tasting notes and the members' WhatsApp community are all in French. If you read some French, or are happy to use a translation tool, everything else works the same for you: free membership, storage, and delivery across Europe except the UK.
